Kindness is not just a movement, but a lifestyle! Whether it's volunteering your time, mentoring youth, or simply saying something kindhearted, kindness is a simple gesture that can profoundly change an individual, a family, a neighborhood, a school, a city, a nation, and ultimately, our world.
In 2010, the City of Anaheim introduced an initiative to bring a culture of kindness to light. Members of the community came together to transform Anaheim into THE CITY OF KINDNESS.
Anaheim Union High School Students took the city’s kindness initiative to heart and teamed up with Modern Gourmet Foods to create the ANAHEIM KINDNESS COOKIES PROJECT, a student-led entrepreneurship program. Since then, MGF has helped Kindset diversify our product line-up and aided us even further in spreading our message.
Anaheim’s Innovative Mentoring Experience

The Anaheim Union High School District (AUHSD) helps students intern for local businesses and nonprofit organizations (i.e. Kaiser Permanente, Rolls Royce, Anaheim White House) to gain work experience.
When you purchase Kindness Cookies, Kindness Stickers, or a pair of Kindness Bracelets, not only do you help spread the message of kindness, but 100% of the proceeds go toward supporting campus organizations, summer jobs, and internships for students.
